Lydia jumped at the sound of Klaus's voice as it broke through her reverie, pulling her back to the present moment where she had just been caught looking at something that he clearly counted as private. The question was why though? Why was he drawing her and what was he angry that she had found them?
Even as she asked herself, she knew what the answer was. She had drawings of her own that she wanted to keep private and she knew what it was like to be pushed into something she didn't want to be.
"I'm sorry." She murmured the apology as she put the remaining drawings down on his desk very slowly. "I woke up alone and I came looking for you...and I just saw these." It sounded lame even to her but her words rang true as she looked up at him. She was sure he could hear her heart racing too.
